It all started when I wanted to teach some new vocabulary about Halloween. What does Halloween have to do with kids in the Middle East you say? Well I believe that teaching culture as part of language is very important. Learning about the nuances of the culture of countries where a language is spoken, in my eyes, is completely integrated into learning the language itself. And what better place to start than Halloween! It’s such a fun holiday! I’m always trying to find new ways to teach the vocabulary to my students and music is one of my favourite ways to do so!
And so I made a Halloween rap. Get up on your feet! Get moving behind that Zoom screen, and ENJOY!
